The Rocky Mountain Program was, quite simply, the most profound educational experience of my career.
My undergraduate degree gave me methodologies, theory and broadened my perspective. My master’s degree taught me to apply the various theories and techniques I’d learned from my education and work experience. The Rocky Mountain Program gave me an opportunity to look inside myself to gain a better understanding of how I operate and make decisions.

For me, it was the last component I was missing to help me achieve my potential as a public administrator. I have started to apply some of what I learned by trying to analyze problems in ways that think beyond my own perspectives. I’ve encouraged my Town Council to work through issues as a group first, before involving staff. This is already producing benefits in the form of better understanding and communication between the members of my town council.

I can’t say enough for the RMP, the ideas I gained there, and alternative ways of thinking that I took away from the program.
